Happy New Year

I feel like this is the first year I’ve actually paid attention to meaning of “Happy-New-Year”. Even though it’s just another group of days, organized into 30 or 31 days that equal months, and twelve of those months equal a year, it does some how give you the feeling that you can make a change.

I’ve never felt like I needed to make resolutions. This is impart to most people not being able to keep them, or making unrealistic resolutions. When I was a little girl, my resolution was always to stop biting my nails. I always failed a couple of weeks in. I still bite my nails occasionally but at least I have the long nails I always dreamed of. It turns out it’s not all it’s cracked up to be. It’s actually kind of gross because things can get trapped under your nails!

I feel very hopeful about this year, not that I want to make a lot of changes, just that there will be change, and I’m willing to accept it with excitement. I hope to be healthier than ever this year, make smart decisions and live a happy and fulfilling life. and learn a lot of new things, and share them.

I know a lot/most people make some type of health resolution at the beginning of the year. Gym memberships start flying off the shelves at this time. If I can give any advise in regards to exercise, it would be to do something that’s not a hassle to do. Driving to a gym, for me, just got to be more of a hassle than was it was worth.

The method I found that has really been working out for me is rebounding. I feel amazing, it’s convenient, it’s effective and easy. I have toned up so well, in hard to work places and it makes me feel so energized. I used to spend an hour, at least at the gym, running, using the elliptical and also doing weight training, with little to no results. I don’t mean to sound like an infomercial, but rebounding really is the best form of exercise I have found with more results than I could even imagine! It’s a total health booster.

To find out more information on them, check out the masters of rebounding, Bellicon. It really is like bouncing on a cloud!

Happy New Year to you and your families. I hope that this will be your happiest, healthiest year yet.

Fitness Friday With Bellicon!

Whoops! Where has the time gone! I realized I did not do any posts this week, just now! I’ve had a busy week getting some things done before the holidays begin. I always like having a head start. That’s why I have been absent.

I’ve tried to refrain from posting about rebounding every week because it’s hard to see results when you’re looking for them every day.

Since I’ve started rebounding, I’ve done different intensities, and they all seem to be effective. I have noticed that my back is stronger and I have less random sciatic pain. My waist has also come in a noticeable amount, which is surprising, because I’ve always been pretty straight waisted.

I’ve also noticed that my chest is stronger, as if I had been doing chest presses but I’ve only been rebounding.

It’s going great and I’m still loving it and it’s so easy to do. Click “> here for more info

FItness Friday With The Bellicon

It’s been two weeks since I’ve started rebounding. It’s been great so far. This week was awesome, because the weather was fantastic and I was able to rebound outside, in the sun.

There were no distractions, which I thought would make it take longer, but it actually flew by. I can’t imagine what my neighbors thought! Being outside, without any height restrictions, I got to bounce higher than normal. I felt my blood flowing like crazy! I put my arms up in the air, above my head, and my hands were pulsing quite strong. It felt great, and I felt so invigorated afterwards.

This week, I also started incorporating arm workouts. As I bounce downward, I raise my arms quickly, like a bird. If you’ve ever thought you couldn’t get a good workout on a rebounder, you’re wrong! My arms were sore the next day, but in a good way. My legs were also sore around my upper thighs, because I did fast “tire jumps”, like football players do, for agility. I must say, this week, I was able to figure out an intense workout regimen.

I normally run for my workouts, but I took September off of running, since my joints were hurting a little bit. I lost a little bit of muscle, but in the two weeks of rebounding, I think I got my muscle back. It amazes me how efficient rebounding is. My back doesn’t hurt, and it does not hurt my joints, at all. This is the only workout I’ve done, that I’ve been able to feel my hips being worked and toned, every time.

I truly believe the only way to tell if your actually losing inches and toning up, is fitting into clothes that are a little snug. I have a pair of jeans that I love, and yes, they are a little snug. They still fit, I would just like them to fit a little looser. Trying these jeans on weekly will be my guide on success! I’ll keep you up to date!

I’ve truly never felt so good, so quick!

Fitness Friday

I was ducking behind the door when I heard the door bell ring. I hate answering the door, especially if B is not home, which he wasn’t. I heard a vehicle running and luckily the garage door was up so I snuck a peak to see who it was. Sure enough, a white van full of boxes. FEDEX!!! I love FedEx, it’s like Christmas when they come.

I had ordered some supplements, which I knew were coming today, so that’s what I thought I was getting when I opened the door. There was a little lady, with a huge skinny box. She said, “sign here please”. Gladly!

You see, this is the most awesome, hopefully revolutionary, and fun piece of exercise equipment I will ever be able to use. It’s the Bellicon Rebounder. It’s supposed to be the most efficient form of exercise, and much easier on your joints and bones. Who likes to hurt their bones just to exercise? I was also excited to try this, because it helps to stimulate your lymphatic system and drain your body of toxins, through the gentle bounce motion.

I unwrapped the very well packaged rebounder and set it up right away. Set up was a breeze, since I chose the attached legs. I am going to be doing either weekly, or bi-weekly posts on my progress with the Bellicon, so check back! I’m hoping this improves my health, muscles, body, and boost my desire to exercise. How could you not want to exercise on this, IT’S A TRAMPOLINE!
